25+ Beautiful Fitness Models That’ll Inspire Your Next Casting

These are the top fitness models you need to know about.

The fitness industry has always been a power player when it comes to encouraging commercialism and people to buy things. Fitness, or perhaps more accurately the healthy lifestyle and sex appeal inherent in fitness marketing, has always been a mainstay of business marketing and outreach. Now with social media and Instagram, fitness models and fitness influencers play an even more pivotal role in selling fitness products and general lifestyle products.

With this new approach to fitness and the rise of social media, fitness influencers and fitness models are starting to become more and more well-known. Within that fame, they not only manage to visually inspire hundreds of thousands of people who, as stated above, are interested in pursuing a healthier lifestyle, but most of these personalities have platforms that help to educate their audience on nutrition, body positivity, and acceptance of oneself. Fitness models aren’t just models anymore, they are role models, and the more they offer their audience in regard to connection, the more they manage to sell.

Therefore, pinning down a perfect fitness model, or do any kind of casting for fitness models, isn’t as easy as looking for the archaic checkpoints you used to see in P90x videos, or on the BeachBody website. Consumers don’t want that anymore. They want to hear someone’s story, and follow their journey; they want to be inspired by the model, rather than sold to. Fitness models need to be dynamic, they need to be representative, but most of all — they need to be real human beings.

We’ve put together a list of our favorite fitness models — ones that have captivated their audiences with their story, their dedication to health, and their personalities. These fitness models not only look good, but they make others feel good, and their selling and branding power is extremely strong.

Fitness Models To Inspire You

A lowdown on some of the industry’s leading fitness models…

Whitney Simmons

Of all the fitness models out there, Whitney Simmons is one of the best. After being cut from her college cheerleading team, Whitney found herself lost in an unhealthy lifestyle. Her father encouraged her to fight her depression and get back into fitness, particularly weightlifting, and soon Whitney was hooked. She began sharing her daily workouts and results on Instagram, and her audience grew. In August of 2016, she told her mom she was leaving her job in marketing to pursue YouTube as a full-time career. Fast forward to today and Whitney has amassed over 1.1 million followers on YouTube in addition to her 1.6 million on Instagram. She is also an international brand ambassador for Gymshark, a UK-based activewear brand, that frequently works with fitness models.

Linn Lowes

Linn Lowes is a great example of how to spread positivity on social media. While at first glance she may seem like your average Insta-model, she’s more than a six-pack with blue eyes. Lowes not only promotes healthy living but also the power to overcome anything. When she was just 26, Linn was diagnosed with cancer. But she doesn’t want the disease to define her. She didn’t let cancer become the end of her life and after she beat it, set out to show her ‘Life AFTER Cancer’ through social media. Now a self-proclaimed “fitnessjunkie”, a nutrition counselor, and personal trainer, Lowes is setting an example for those who might be giving up, showing that there is an end to the battle.

30 DAY PUSH-UP CHALLENGE (ok, 28 days…close enough) 💪🏻💥. – I’ve been meaning to do this for months and months and I finally got my butt in gear and made a month-long push-up progression plan for you guys 🙆🏼‍♀️. Start date is tomorrow and anyone can join in! Save if you need a reminder (I’ll also be storying) and pass along to anyone who may want to join you 🤗 (I forced my bestie to join in already haha). – How to improve push-ups is one of the most common questions I’m asked and instead of me saying “start with incline push-ups, increase your frequency, blah blah”, I thought I’d just write a month long push-up specific program that anyone can participate in with meee 💃🏼. It should take max 10-15 min/day and you can do it anywhere. You can post about it or join in silently; I really just wanted to get some butts in gear and help a little more directly. – 🎉Also, I know I promised I’d do another giveaway soon so this seemed like a good opportunity. My bro and I decided 3 prizes of a $200 Adidas gift card would be cooool and winner is chosen at random from all those who participate (send vids at least before and after). The real prize is getting more badass though (duh). Of course, posting or storying is encouraged if that’s your jam, but it’s not necessary. – I’m posting a story that explains all this in more detail if you want in. The actual chart with the workouts will be posted TOMORROW. If you’re someone who wants to improve but isn’t sure how or is feeling a little unmotivated, DO THE THING! I’ll be storying myself doing them errday along with you guys. (Second part of the vid are so progressions and variations included). – – Every time I’m lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet you guys, a lot of you talk about how much progress you’ve made with your push-ups and your goals of becoming more explosive, increasing your reps, etc. I really, really do appreciate it. It’s a bizarre, humbling, and totally wonderful feeling knowing that in some way, I’ve helped encourage you guys to get stronger and feel more confident. GET IT, FRANDS 👊🏻💗 – 🎵Yungen ft. ⚡️Answering your questions⚡️ What’s my makeup routine/Do I wear makeup to the gym? YES! I sure do. I know this isn’t ideal, but I always have. Years ago it was because I was squeezing my workout in between work and client appointments and didn’t have time to wash before and and Re-apply after. And now I do my filming for you guys at the gym during (or right after😅) my personal workout and I prefer to have a little makeup on haha. That said, I usually keep it very minimal! My makeup routine is a tinted moisturizer/sunscreen all over, a little bronzer along my cheek bones, a little concealer to highlight (and/or cover up and breakouts I’m having), a touch of blush, and a light brow fill-in. That’s it! I also want to note I do have eyelash extensions (which I have had for years and I LOVE, but you need to be careful to go to a certified professional who KNOWS what’s up so you don’t damage your natural lashes). Also, I wash my face morning and night ALWAYS!! Taking care of my skin is soo important to me.🤗🖤 www.kelseywells.com/app . #pwr #pwrprogram #kelseywellspwr

Going to the gym vs. living an active lifestyle. This is a concept and a shift that’s changed EVERY aspect of my life. Back in 2010 I joined a gym. I wasn’t happy with my body, endurance, fitness or strength. I felt pressure to go to the gym after work every day and replicate workouts I’d found online or seen other IG girls do. A lot of these workouts relied on machinery, weights and heavy lifting. After two years of repeating this cycle… I’d essentially gotten nowhere. My physique had actually changed further away from my goals, I was now resenting the gym and I felt defeated. Through years of trial, error, reflection, self development and change… I’m literally a different person. Along with health, nutrition and body confidence, one of my major passions in life is to inspire others to LOVE being fit and active. This DOESN’T mean you have to lift heavy weights, claim the squat rack or use your gyms stair machine. If that’s the kind of workouts that you love then yay!! You’ve found something that works for you. However, for me, I get bored really quickly! I like challenges, fast paced movements and the flexibility to workout at home or outdoors. I actually have butterflies because I’m so excited for this next Sweat it Reload journey!! On the 12th of May you’ll finally see the fitness guide I’ve been working so hard on, and why I’m in such a positive, fitness mind frame. I LOVE my workout routine and I LOVE sharing my tips, exercises and secrets with you! Right now I’m off to smash out a Sezzy Circuit workout from week 14… aka – a full body, fat burning sweat fest! 💦 Saturday 12th May (AEST) www.sarahsday.com P.s this is a sneak peek of one of the images from the eBook!!!!

Let’s talk ABS ‼️ and what you need to do to get abs and SEE those abs. . Commonly asked question: Do you need to do ab exercises in order to get abs? The answer is no. You don’t NEED to do traditional ab focused workouts in order to get abs. If you know how to engage and use your core/abs properly during your strength workouts, you can build abs just by using and engaging your core during strength based moves alone . Aside from that, no matter how many traditional OR non-traditional ab workouts you do, whether you can see them or not depends on a few things. First is: genetics!! Do you have a naturally lean tummy? If so, A. Lucky you 😝 and B. you probably don’t need to do as much cardio in order to reveal those abs and you just need to focus on building core strength. (And eat properly to assist in building that muscle) . If you DON’T have a naturally lean tummy (like me) then that saying “abs are built in the gym and revealed in the kitchen” applies to you. Bummer, I know!! And in our case, often times belly fat is the last to go and the first to come back. It is what it is! 🤷‍♀️ The more you fight against it, the more you push back reaching your goals. So focusing on strength workouts, properly engaging your core, doing cardio (not more than strength training though) AND keeping your meals/macros in check is what needs to be at the top of your (fitness) priority list. . While as you girls know, I do not believe abs are everything, not one bit. But there also isn’t anything wrong with having physical goals *as long as you aren’t putting your mental and emotional health on the back burner* in order to achieve those goals. . This is just the surface of this week’s #fbgbodylove newsletter topic! I will be doing an insta live tomorrow at 8:30am PST to go over strengthening your core and more. Comment any questions you have on this topic below so I can answer them, and I’ll chat with you girls tomorrow morning!! ☺️💕 #fitbodyapp www.annavictoria.com/fitbodyapp
