Being Your Own Biggest Fan

If you’re a model, you need to be your own biggest fan.

You need to have faith in yourself and have confidence in who you are and what you’re capable of. If you don’t have yourself, then who do you have?

We talked to Benji, a model from Colorado, who started his career and meeting with agencies when he was about 16 years old. When he was rejected by an agency, he was crushed. But at the same time, he was still motivated.

He didn’t want to be disheartened by his experience of getting rejected, so after a year, he went back to that same agency. And then they signed him.

Benji has the belief that everyone should do their own passion project. You should work on yourself and understand your strengths and your weaknesses and understand that you can turn those weaknesses into a strength if you work hard enough.

You have to have your own back. You have to believe in yourself and your abilities, because with that, you have enough confidence to get yourself to where you want to be in such a cut-throat industry.

If you don’t support yourself, if you don’t have yourself, then who else do you have?
