15 Family Photographers You Should Know In Las Vegas

15 Family Photographers You Should Know In Las Vegas

Professional family photography is a beautiful way to capture the essence of your family. You may be thinking that you could save a bunch of money by taking pictures of your family yourself. That may be true to an extent; however, a family photo is almost always missing a person (the person taking the photo) unless you solicit the help of a friendly stranger. And let’s be real, almost 100% of the photos taken by a well-meaning stranger come out lopsided and blurry. Otherwise, you can opt for an up-close selfie with half of one of your family member’s faces cut out of the frame.

Family portraits are also a fun experience for the whole tribe. When you work with a skilled photographer, they will know how to pose you so you look natural and relaxed. If you have never had professional photos taken before, you will likely be surprised at how well they turn out. Everything from the lighting, to the poses and the backdrops will be catered with your specific needs in mind.

While these photos are certainly an investment, it’s an investment that will last a lifetime. You will be proud to hang the photos on your walls and hand them down from generation to generation as a visual snippet of how your family once was.

If you are looking for family portraits in Las Vegas, Nevada, we have you covered with the best family photographers in the city.

What many of my past clients will say about me is that I am always going above and beyond to create a fun stress free session for all my clients that they will remember for years to come.”

Grantham shoots in her studio in Henderson, Nevada, or in the location of your choice (within 20 miles of Las Vegas).

In family photography sessions, she encourages the families to pick one “star of the show,” which just means a person whose outfit will inform everyone else’s look. For example, maybe mom wears a pink, white, and navy pattern and the rest of the family wears complementary colors. She cautions against matching outfits, bright white socks, tennis shoes and logos which can date the photos. She always works closely with hair and makeup artists if you are interested in professional styling.

Her family portrait rates start at $350 (plus tax) and include a pre-shoot phone consult, 1 hour of shooting, a downloadable online gallery, print release and 30+ hand edited portraits.

A few weeks after your shoot, you will be invited back to the studio for a viewing session. You will see your beautifully edited shots for the first time and decide if you are interested in wall portraits, canvas wraps, birth announcements etc.

Wendhy says, “When I am looking through my lens, I am capturing a piece of your child that you’ll be able to cherish for a lifetime. My purpose is to illustrate what’s real, the very true, special person you love so very much.”
