Polaroid Cameras Are Back, And They’re Better Than Ever

In case you haven’t heard, Polaroid Cameras are back in full force. If you want to take a trip down memory lane, or if you just love the old school vibe of the classic Polaroid style, it’s time to get excited. The whole thing started ten years ago with The Impossible Project, which began as an effort to continue manufacturing Polaroid-style instant film after Polaroid stopped making it in 2008.

Eventually, The Impossible Project morphed into a new company called Polaroid Originals. Now, in addition to making instant film that works with old Polaroid cameras, they have created their own incredible camera that shoots with instant film. And this thing is insanely awesome…

Impossible Project I-1 Analog Instant Camera

The Impossible Project I-1 Analog Instant Camera from Polaroid Originals is the real deal. It brings back the magic of an old school Polaroid Camera and takes it into the 21st century. It even has built-in bluetooth connectivity that pairs with an app.

The app allows you to mess with the settings of the camera, such as shutter speed and aperture, giving you more control than ever before in the history of instant film photography. The camera has an amazing ring flash consisting of 12 small LED lights that can be adjusted with the app as well.

There’s even a remote trigger and a self timer, just in case you need a new selfie. And let’s be honest… who wouldn’t want a Polaroid selfie?

Whether you’re in it for the nostalgia, or you just love the way the photos turn out, there is something undeniably magical about a Polaroid picture… the immediate access, the unique look of the image, and the tactile feeling of holding the physical photograph in your hand are all truly special. It’s more than just a photograph. It’s like an instant physical memory of an exact moment, captured forever.

And when it comes to the instant film itself, Polaroid Originals has you covered. They’ve got color film and black & white film, which both look incredible. There’s a specific type of film made for their Impossible Project I-1 Analog Instant Camera, as well as various types of film made specifically for vintage Polaroid cameras.

Needless to say, if you love Polaroid instant film, your dreams have just been answered.
