Whether if you’re actually planning your wedding or you’re just gathering ideas for the future, you’ve gotten everything figured out. The cake, the flowers, the location, the food, the everything. But… what about a photographer? That’s the most important thing, don’t you think? I mean, sure, you could literally take iPhone photos if you wanted to. Or, you could spend money on good wedding photos.

Is it worth it? Absolutely. Don’t let us convince you though…let our creators do the talking.

“Professional photographers, especially those who are experienced (and therefore probably cost more money), know how to guide your day to achieve the emotional, candid, memory forming moments that otherwise might not happen. I know there is emotion bubbling under the surface and I just need to bring it out.”

“The one thing that will last a lifetime (besides the marriage) are your photos. This is one of the most important days of your life and you want someone who can not only capture all of the details, but the big and small moments that happen at the wedding. You should connect with the images your photographer creates. A lot of brides get fixated on the cost of a photographer, rather than the quality. Keep in mind that photographers are not just taking photos of you for 8 hours on your wedding day — they also have to edit the photos (which can take up to 30 hours), design the album, answer your emails and phone calls, and carry out all of the other administrative duties that owning a business entails. Bottom line: you get what you pay for, so make sure you trust the photographer’s quality as well as the price.”

“If your memories are priceless then it’s not expensive. Almost every item in a wedding is perishable — the cake, the decorations, etc. But photography isn’t. In fact, the pictures hold more meaning over time.”

These are memories you will keep forever. If you’re paying for a talented, professional photographer, they are going to capture raw emotion that you experience on your wedding day. When you look back at your album months or even years after your wedding, you will be able to look at the photo and feel exactly what you felt in that moment.”

“Photos are the one part of a person’s wedding that last forever. The flowers die; the music turns off; the food gets eaten; the decorations get put away. However, the photos can even last long after the lives of the couple, being passed down to great-great grandchildren. They are a way for the couple to remember every moment of this special day, when sometimes the adrenaline makes you forget some details. The wedding photographer is never just a photographer. He or she helps keep the timeline on schedule, helps find missing family members, helps bustle a dress, or helps put on a boutonnière. After the wedding is over, all the other vendors go home and move on to their next clients, but the photographer spends hours and hours perfecting the photos that this couple and their family will cherish forever. Don’t think of your wedding photographer as a purchase but as a lifelong investment.
